Roaming from the UAE to the UK: e& and du packs or an eSIM
Travelling to London from Dubai? du's weekly bundles give 10 GB for 100 AED, e&'s give 2.5 GB for 250 AED. The comparison with a Europe eSIM that also covers the UK.
For a week in the UK on du postpaid, your carrier's bundle is cheap: 5 GB for 70 AED or 10 GB for 100 AED over 7 days. For a short trip to London it is a sound choice. On e&, the Roaming Weekly Combo Pack gives 2.5 GB and 500 minutes for 250 AED, and a travel eSIM usually does better. For summers in the UK, or a trip that continues into Europe, the eSIM takes the lead on both carriers.

When the eSIM wins
- The whole summer. du's cheap bundles last 7 days, and e&'s monthly packs stop at 10 GB for 1,000 AED.
- UK plus Europe. We only checked these packs for seven countries, the UK among them. Our Europe plan covers 41 countries, the UK included, on a single eSIM.
- You are on e&, where 2.5 GB for 250 AED a week is little data for the price.
