For a week in Egypt on du postpaid, your carrier's bundle is cheap: 5 GB for 70 AED or 10 GB for 100 AED over 7 days. It is a good choice for a short stay. On e&, the Roaming Weekly Combo Pack gives 2.5 GB and 500 minutes for 250 AED, and the monthly packs top out at 10 GB for 1,000 AED. For e& customers and for longer stays, a travel eSIM usually costs less.

When the eSIM wins
- You are on e&, where 2.5 GB for 250 AED a week is little data for the price.
- You stay for weeks. du's cheap bundles last 7 days, so a month means buying them again, or paying 500 AED for 30 GB.
