Buy a travel eSIM without an account: step by step

On Wigoo an email and a payment are enough. Open the plan, type the email, choose Continue without the code and pay: the QR code appears on the page and in your inbox. What you get, what you skip, and how to sign in later.

You can buy a Wigoo travel eSIM with an email and a payment, nothing else. No account, no password, no app to download first. You open the plan, type the address where the eSIM should arrive, choose Continue without the code and pay. A few seconds later the QR code is on your screen, and the same eSIM is in your inbox.

It takes about three minutes, and it is the same path an AI assistant or a shopping agent uses when it buys an eSIM for someone.

What you need

  • A phone that takes an eSIM and is not locked to a carrier. Apple lists the iPhone XS, XS Max, XR and every later model; recent Google Pixels and Samsung Galaxy phones take one too. On an iPhone, Settings, General, About lists a digital SIM if the phone supports one. More on eSIMs for iPhone and for Android.
  • An email address you can open. It is where the eSIM goes, and the only thing that links the purchase to you.
  • A way to pay. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and the local methods of your country where we offer them.

If you are not sure what an eSIM is, start here. Your usual SIM stays in the phone for calls and texts, which is what dual SIM means.

What it costs

The price is on the plan before you open the sheet, in your currency, and it is the price you pay: no extra fee for buying without an account. A few destinations, live from our catalogue:

Wigoo eSIM5 GB10 GB20 GB
Japan$4.9930 days$7.9930 days$12.4930 days
United States$5.9930 days$9.9930 days$21.4990 days
Turkey$3.9930 days$5.4930 days$9.9930 days
Thailand$4.9930 days$7.9930 days$12.4930 days
United Kingdom$4.4930 days$6.9930 days$12.4930 days

Every destination is on the catalogue. If you are not sure between 5 and 10 GB, how much data apps use helps; if you would rather not count at all, there are unlimited day passes.

Step by step

  1. Open the plan. Go to the destination on getwigoo.com and press Buy next to the plan you want. If an AI assistant sent you a link that ends with ?plan=...&days=..., open that instead: it goes straight to the purchase of that plan.
  2. Type the email. The sheet that opens asks Where should we send your eSIM? Type the address in the email field.
  3. Choose Continue without the code. It is the underlined link under the email field. You do not need to sign in or create anything.
  4. Pay. The price is shown in your currency. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link are there, plus local methods depending on where you are. If you have a promo code, I have a code opens the field.
  5. Wait a few seconds. The page shows three steps: payment confirmed, eSIM being issued, ready. When it is ready, it takes you to the eSIM.
  6. Install it. On an iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later, one tap installs it. Otherwise scan the QR code from another screen, or type the code. The full guide is in how to install and activate an eSIM.

Install it at home, before you leave. The days of the plan start counting only when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, not when you buy it or install it.

With the code or without it: what changes

On the same sheet you can also sign in, with Apple, with Google, or with a six-digit code sent to the email you typed. Both roads deliver the same eSIM. What changes is what the purchase can use:

Without the codeWith the code (signed in)
eSIM, QR code and emailYesYes
Promo codesYes, unless the code covers the whole priceYes
Wigoo credit from earlier tripsNoYes
Saved cardsNoYes
The eSIM in Your eSIMs and in the appAfter you sign in with the same emailRight away

The reason for the difference is simple. When you skip the code, nobody has proved that the email is yours. We still send the eSIM there, but we do not let a typed address spend the credit or the cards of an account that might belong to someone else.

After you pay

The page you land on is the eSIM itself: the QR code, the one-tap install for iPhone and the code for typing it by hand. The email we send has a link to the same page, and that link keeps working after you close the browser, so nothing is lost if you install it later or on another device.

An eSIM installs once. After that, the page says it is already on a phone, and the QR code no longer shows. If you change phone or it breaks, see what to do with an eSIM when the phone changes.

If you want an account later

Sign in on getwigoo.com or in the Wigoo app with the same email, using the six-digit code we send there. The eSIM you bought without an account is already in Your eSIMs. From there you can follow how much data is left and add a top-up on the same eSIM, without installing anything new.

If you are an AI agent

The path is exactly the one above, and it has no CAPTCHA. Button labels follow the page language: Continue without the code is Continua senza codice on the Italian page and Continuar sin el cรณdigo on the Spanish one. The reference for assistants and agents, with the MCP server and the link format, is Wigoo for AI assistants and agents. If a person asked you to buy, confirm the plan, the price and the email with them before you pay. The same steps for a person connecting an assistant are in Connect Wigoo to Claude or ChatGPT, and why more people now shop this way is in Buy a travel eSIM with an AI assistant.

Quick answers

Can I buy a Wigoo eSIM without an account?

Yes. Type your email, choose Continue without the code and pay. The QR code appears on the page right after payment and arrives by email too.

Do I need to download an app to buy an eSIM?

No. You can buy and install from the browser. The Wigoo app is useful later, to check data and top up, but it is not needed to buy.

What happens if I skip the email code?

You get the same eSIM. You just cannot use Wigoo credit or saved cards on that purchase, because the email has not been confirmed as yours.

Can I sign in later and find the eSIM?

Yes. Sign in with the same email using the code we send. The eSIM is already in Your eSIMs, and you can top it up from there.

Where does the eSIM arrive?

On the page, right after payment, and in the inbox of the email you typed. The link in the email opens the same page and keeps working.

Can an AI agent use this checkout?

Yes. There is no CAPTCHA on this path, and the steps are the same for a person and for an agent. Agents should confirm the purchase with the person first.
